Van Gogh & His Inspirations

The Columbia Museum of Art brings the work of beloved artist Vincent Van Gogh to the Southeast in this special exhibit. It includes thirty handpicked paintings that shaped Van Gogh’s vision and aesthetic alongside twelve paintings and drawings from the artist himself. The collection features a noted painting of poppy fields from the National Gallery of Art, a painting of a peasant weaving from The Boston Museum of Fine Art, and the famous self-portrait from the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art. Side-by-side with their inspirations, these works offer a window into the mind of Vincent Van Gogh. Included in this trip is admission to the CMA’s other galleries and an early lunch before we tour the Museum.
