Can you imagine having a conversation with Leonardo Da Vinci about his most famous paintings? Or learning how a young boy becomes a knight? What if you could hear Henry VIII tell his side of the story behind all those marriages? Students do all this and more!
Step inside the gates of Newcastle and find yourself transported back to 16th-century England! Our 32-acre village is filled with over 150 artisan craft shops, 10 stages of endless entertainment, plus food galore! Artisan demonstrations, handmade treasures, and some jousting to reflect the times. Jugglers and Jesters, Knights and Ladies and lots of your fellow students will be enjoying the days activities. You’ll laugh out loud at the antics of our costumed characters, try your skill at carnival games, and enjoy human-powered rides for kids of all ages. It’s a full day of fun, food and entertainment for your students.
