Travel into the mountains of northern Georgia for a distinctly Germanic Experience. Before we reach the Bavarian Alpine Village of Helen, we’ll stop at Jaemor Farms. Here you will have the opportunity to shop in their incredible Fresh Produce Market for the freshest locally grown peaches and produce available from their northeast Georgia farm. Delight your taste buds with their must-buy homemade fresh breads, jams & jellies, pickles, relishes, BBQ sauces, marinades, dressings, pies, ice creams, cakes, boiled peanuts and much more.

Check into our hotel then join the 46th Annual Oktoberfest at the Helen Festhalle. Beer, brats, bands and Lederhosen await us, as we enjoy an evening of German Oom-pah bands and a dinner menu featuring old German favorites including wurst, red cabbage, sauerkraut, and German potato salad. Beverages include a wide selection of German beers and wines (payable on own). See the horns blown, the bells rung, and the accordions squeezed as you sing along to familiar tunes and make new friends at this German Festival. D

After breakfast, enjoy free time for some excellent shopping; don’t forget to pick up your very own Beer Stein Mug! Then travel to Sweat Acre Farms in Gainesville, GA, to taste some of their unique wines. We’ll head home with fond memories of our German excursion in the Georgia Mountains. B
