Meet your fellow travelers and head west to Jonesboro, GA. We’ll take rest breaks and stop for lunch on your own. Upon arrival, meet our costumed guide for our “Gone with the Wind Experience” as we learn about Jonesboro, Margaret Mitchell and Gone with the Wind, and visit the Road to Tara Museum to view relics from the 1939 Atlanta premiere, reproduction costumes, and more. We’ll check into our hotel before visiting the Stately Oaks Plantation. Built in 1839, the house is an example of a real home from Tara’s time period. To cap off a fun day, we’ll dine on authentic country fare including Scarlett’s Fried Chicken, Rhett’s Prize-Winning Sweet Potatoes, Mammy’s Baked Potato, Melanie’s Green Beans and much more. 🅓

Enjoy breakfast before checking out and continuing our Gone With the Wind Tour. This morning we visit the new Gone with the Wind Museum at Historic Brumby Hall in Marietta, GA. This museum boasts an extensive collection of memorabilia from the movie and features sights and sounds of Atlanta during the Civil War and Reconstruction narrated by Scarlett O’Hara and Rhett Butler. Next we enjoy classic Southern food at Mary Mac’s Tea Room, board our coach and make our way back home. We will arrive back in Charleston in the early evening after a wonderful trip!  🅑🅛
