Come and visit the unique Coastal Plains of South Carolina and her Sea Islands region. Our first stop is Rose Hill Mansion, still a private residence and located in a gated community; Don’t worry though, Kelly Tours has the key! The mansion has been described as the most beautiful Plantation House in the Lowcountry featuring the grand entry’s open stringer spiral staircase, period furniture, and all the grandeur of days gone by. A sumptuous Luncheon will be served amid the splendor of the Mansions’ dining room. We then cross over the Harbor Village to the town of Beaufort, where we join the “Prince of Tides” river boat for a cruise on the Harbor Rivers inlets. Relax in the balmy bay breeze as your USCG licensed captain and First Mate Linda reveal a side of Beaufort you won’t see anywhere else. Distractions abound, however, as playful dolphins vie for your attention and the stately osprey soars overhead. Add the fragrance of the salt marsh and the breathtaking views from the water, and you begin to see why explorers and invaders since 1521 have found these sea islands irresistible.
