Daufuskie Island is located between Hilton Head Island and Savannah and is the southernmost semi-inhabited sea island in South Carolina and only accessible by ferry. Jump onboard the Delta Lady for the 11:00am transfer from Hilton Head and watch for Dolphins as the ferry captain regals you with stories of this mysterious Island. Upon arrival, enjoy an included lunch buffet at the Old Daufuskie Crab Company, a unique Island treat featuring delicious food, including one of Ms. Ernestine’s Daufuskie Deviled Crabs, with the backdrop of Daufuskie’s magnificent views. Then embark on a guided tour of the island onboard the only real motorized vehicle on the Island (wait & see!) Hear all about The Bloody Point Lighthouse (includes entrance), The African Baptist Church & Mary Fields School. End your tour back at the General Store where you will have a little free time to shop for some souvenirs before we board our 5:00pm ferry back to the mainland after a great day learning a bit of history and reliving the past.
