Meet your Kelly Tours coach and tour escort and travel south to Crystal River, Florida. After lunch we will drive over to the Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park where an astounding number of fresh and saltwater fish congregate in a natural spring bowl. A unique underwater dome allows visitors to “walk underwater” beneath the spring’s surface and watch the various fish and manatees swim. Thirty-four different fresh and saltwater species have been identified, including large jacks, snapper, snook, and others. The park also features a variety of captive animals such as alligators, black bears, red wolf, key deer, flamingoes, whooping cranes, and the oldest hippopotamus in captivity. Next, we return to Crystal River and check into the Plantation on Crystal River for a two-night stay. This beautiful 50-year-old, 232-acre eco-friendly resort offers comfortable accommodations, a full-service spa, and is surrounded by the natural springs of Kings Bay. This bay in Crystal River is one of the largest aquifers in the state and home to more than 400 West Indian manatees that migrate each year to the warmth of the springs. Enjoy a one-hour Scenic River cruise on the Plantation Princess and be on the look-out for the manatees that inhabit the waters of Crystal River. After the tour you are free to enjoy this beautiful hotel and its surroundings. Dinner is on your own this evening and can be taken at one of the hotels many dining options.

Enjoy a hot breakfast buffet at the hotel this morning before we depart for a full day of sight-seeing. This morning we travel to St. Petersburg to the Morean Arts Center to see the Chihuly Collection, a stunning permanent collection from the world-renowned artist, Dale Chihuly. This presentation is unique as it is the first installation of Chihuly art in a building designed specifically for the purpose of art and architecture working together to create a visitor experience unlike any other. The Collection is marked at the entrance by an iconic 20-foot sculpture created especially for the site. If time allows, we will see a glass blowing demonstration. Lunch will be on your own before we continue to Tampa and Ybor City. Ybor City is a historic neighborhood located just northeast of downtown and our step on guide will take us on a tour of it. Founded in the 1880s by Vicente Martinez-Ybor, it is one of only two National Historic Landmark Districts in Florida. You are in for a special treat this evening, as dinner will be served at the Columbia Restaurant in Ybor City Historic District. Known as Florida’s oldest and largest Spanish restaurant, you will be delighted by a captivating performance by the Columbia Dance Troupe as they present their nightly Flamenco dance show. After dinner we return to our hotel for the final overnight. B D

Bid farewell to The Plantation on Crystal River after a final delightful breakfast buffet and make our way home. Along the way we will stop in Historic St. Augustine for shopping and free time to explore. Be sure to check out the Spanish Bakery and bring home some fresh bread! Arrive home in the early evening. B
